After the devastating earthquake in Haiti, Jurate Kazickas and Karl Purnell began working together to bring video education to homeless students in Port au Prince. Students whose homes and schools were destroyed are now taking online courses via the internet and this new program Teach the World Online. The program is currently seeking volunteers, with or without degrees, who can donate up to an hour of time per week to teach and tutor for the courses. This is a good opportunity for students who want to make a difference.
